Reason: Largely respected as one of the best British albums of all time, this band and album completely changed my outlook on music.
Although the album was released in 1989, The Stone Roses' catchy brand of pop music is as timeless as The Beatles.
This was the soundtrack to a generation of people that evolved into bands like Oasis, The Verve, Blur and Radiohead.

Reason: This is one of the funniest CD's I have ever
heard in my entire life! If you've never listened
to They Might Be Giants, this is probably the
best CD to start off with. It's incredibly varied,
never boring and absolutely brilliant. Songs like
"I Palindrome I", "Dinner Bell" and "Fingertips"
make this a must have :)

Reason: This CD is just brilliant in my opinion! I hadn't heard
of Tara MacLean before I got this CD for my birthday...
But she's great. She has an almost Sarah McLachlan type
sound, so if you like SM, you will probably like TM.
"Blinded" and "Reach" are great tracks... So keep this
CD in mind.... It's a faboo listen :)

Reason: Simply a spectacular collection of music by the Canadian singer/songwriter. Thoughtful lyrics, imaginative, hummable melodies that will stick with you for days, and Jann's warm, soaring voice. I'd never heard of Jann here in the US; the CD was a gift from a Canadian friend, and within two weeks I'd made it my business to buy all her other CDs as well. This album is a must-have! Reason: I simply adore the music on this soundtrack! Joey Gian's "What if I Loved You" and "Return to Me" are wondderful. I love his voice and style; hope we'll hear more of him (and see more--he sure looked good in the movie!). I have very eclectic taste in music (Led Zeppelin to Spyra Gyra) and it was a treat to discover Jackie Gleason's orchestra. Plus, the actual soundtrack music (icluding "To Italy for a Kiss") brings to mind lovely memories of this great movie! Buy this CD and enjoy! Also available at Amazon.co.uk.
